Nouveau petit test de recette de @marie_sweetandsour cette fois-ci, ça faisait longtemps que j'avais pas fais une de ses recettes 😊 . J'ai fais un gâteau à la pêche vegan et amande. Et bah je suis pas déçue ! Moelleux, un goût d'amande assez doux (car j'aime pas quand ça sent trop), les péches bien fondantes, miam 🤤 mais pour moi, il manque un petit truc, la prochaine fois j'essayerai avec un peu de cardamome ou de la verveine je sais pas 😊 mais à faire en tout cas ! . . Delicious beetroot cream soup 🍲 It's super easy to prepare! . You'll need: • 400g beets, grated • 500ml water • 500ml veg stock • 2 garlic cloves • 3 bay leaves • 3 allspice • 3 tbsp lemon juice • 100g cream (18% or 30% fat) • salt, pepper . Add grated raw beets into the pot, add water, veg stock, garlic and spices and cook for about 25 min. Add lemon juice and cream, cook for next 5min. Add salt and pepper to taste 👩🏻‍🍳 . Spray doughnut pan well Mix all dry ingredients together Add water slowly until brownie batter consistency is reached. Fill each mold half way full of water Cook for 10 mins. Allow to cool in tin. Remove Melt Cocoa Bar in a Jar and coconut oil in 30 second intervals in bowl in microwave. Stir between each interval. Dip the top of each doughnut in the glaze and sprinkle with bits of the candy. В блендере всё замешать с молотыми специями и маслом: кумин(зира), СМЧП, соль, сладкая паприка, кориандр, оливковое масло. Are you familiar with the words “Overnight oats?” 😐 . In all honesty, when this became a trend a few years back I resisted it. I had tried them myself, and I wasn’t crazy about them. And gosh, I heard about overnight oats EVERYWHERE which made me resist it even more. (Idk why I’m like this!) . While I love the aesthetics of the mason jars, and the cute little berry accoutrements...coming across overnight oats recipes made me feel somehow inferior (is that the right word? 🧐) as if mine always had to look like that...and it just looked exhausting tbh. . Fast forward to now and I’ve developed a little system that I love and have grown to appreciate overnight oats. I even eat them COLD because now that it’s summer I can’t stand hot oatmeal for breakfast. 🥵 . I simply pour 1 part rolled oats to 1 part water. I do 4 cups for a week (at least I did this week!) and store it in the fridge. Then I add my toppings and yumminess when I serve myself. My go-to has been a tablespoon of peanut butter with some kind of fruit (a banana or a cup of berries, usually...a diced apple is also nice) . The point I want to make here is meal prep can be SO SIMPLE, and it doesn’t always have to look pretty and stylish. Don’t get me wrong, if you’ve followed me a while you know I love taking aesthetically pleasing food photos (why would I have an iPhone 11!?📱#portraitmode), but my food doesn’t always look like that, trust me. . My clients are learning approachable methods for fueling and meal prepping, putting simple systems in place for healthy living. That’s our vision . Do you want simplicity? It’s #foodiefriday! Here’s a look at my lunches I’ve been eating this week! Vegetarian Burrito-type Bowls. Includes brown rice, Cuban style beans, cucumber salad and pico de Gallo. Since I’m still WFH, instead of portioning out my meal prep for every individual lunch, I’m taking a more component-focused approach to my meal prepping. Basically I’ve just been prepping all my foods and storing them in separate containers, and when the time comes to eat- I pick and choose what I want to eat, and the amounts I want to eat of each- and portion it out right then and there! I’ve been LOVING this method lately. Do you portion out your meals or prep them in components? ❤️

It's always good to have some new comfort food recipes and these Vegan Cheese Stuffed Onion Rings with a marinara dip, by @comfortfoodvegan, are definitely comforting😋⁠ ⁠ ⁠ 1) Slice 2 large white onions horizontally removing outer layer, into 4 even'ish cuts. Separate rings and pair with similiar sizes. You want them really close but you have to be able to slide the sliced cheese in, so play with 'em a little until you get it down 💙🌱⁠ 2) Try it with any vegan cheese you like. Cut cheese into slices, cutting each slice in 4 long cuts.⁠ 3) Add cheese slice in between the two onion rings, removing some cheese if overlapping and can't stuff it in 😋💓⁠ 4) Freeze for at least an hour.. get your things together to fry and warm oil before taking them out. They defrost quickly!⁠ ⁠ ⁠ Fry 'em up:⁠ 3/4 cup all purpose flour⁠ 1 cup water⁠ --Stir flour & water until combined and adjust if necessary until it's a thinner pancake consistency--⁠ 1 cup panko breadcrumbs⁠ 1 tsp garlic powder⁠ 1 tsp onion powder⁠ 1 tsp dried oregano⁠ 1 tsp dried basil⁠ 1 tsp dried parsley⁠ 1/2 tsp salt⁠ 1/2 tsp black pepper⁠ Marinara for dipping 😋⁠ ⁠ --Mix breadcrumbs and all seasonings below it together in a bowl--⁠ 1) Take one frozen onion ring at a time (using one hand) and dip it into the wet mixture, let excess drip off. Then using the other hand- cover it in to the breadcrumb mixture, *keeping the wet mixture hand out of the breadcrumb bowl so it's less messy.⁠ 2) Heat your oil of choice and fry until golden brown, letting excess oil fall off on to a towel after being fried.⁠ 3) Warm marinara and get to dipping, this was crazy good ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ Follow for more⁠ @espralalife@espralalife⁠ ⁠ Tag your friends who may like this 😊😊

Trust me on this one, I learned this the hard way. 😂#recoveringperfectionist . But, I have focused on what I can control: my EFFORT. And as a result, this adventure has been FUN and CONSISTENT and DEDICATED and FULL OF GRIT! 🙌🏻 . On Day 1, I signed up as a coach — frustrated, lost, anxious and feeling hopeless (totally stuck) with my life path and wellness journey. On Day 2480(ish), I am FULL of life, energy, and joy, strong, and confident. I stand a little taller — lifted by passion, pride, and purpose. I am humble and vulnerable and learning. . My journey is nowhere close to ending and I‘m SO pumped to continue sharing! Why? Cuz my life changed because I saw other women I was inspired by openly sharing their stories, and I connected with the ups, downs, stumbles, and victories. Falafel patties! I made a big batch and froze most of them for the days when I don’t feel like cooking. They’re great with a salad, as a wrap or they can even be used as a burger patty or just by themselves with some hummus 🍔 🥗 🌯 😋 . . . Falafel 1 can chickpeas 1 can black beans 1 zucchini grated (water drained out) 2 tbsp crushed garlic 2 tbsp sesame seeds 1.5 cups chopped parsley 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp red chili powder 1 tsp Coriander powder 2 tbsp flax seeds 1 tbsp lemon juice Salt to taste. 1 tbsp bread crumbs 1 tbsp chickpea flour 1 tbsp rice flour 1 tbsp semolina (optional) . Directions ▪️wash and drain the chickpeas and black beans. Throughly Dry them out on a paper towel and mash them using a food processor. ▪️add the rest of the ingredients. Adjust the spices if needed. Mix until well combined and form into patties. ▪️to cook: place 1 tsp of oil on a pan and cook on medium until both sides are golden brown. ▪️to freeze: place a single layer of patties on a baking sheet and freeze for 2-3 hours. Transfer into a freezer safe container and enjoy as needed. Easy ❤️VEGAN FALAFEL❤️ by @plantsforfit⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 COMPLETE INGREDIENTS LIST:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 400g cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 small red onion ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 garlic clove ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Handful of parsley ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 tsp. Ground cumin ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 tsp. Ground coriander ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 tsp. Chili powder (optional) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2-3 tablespoon whole wheat or gf flour ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pinch of salt to taste⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 tablespoon coconut oil (only needed for frying), if you decide to pan fry the falafel balls but you can also just bake them in the oven at 185°C until they're golden brown.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 HOW TO:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's quite simple to do you just need a high speed blender or food processor! Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend everything until fairly smooth, to enhance the consistency you might need to add a bit of water or a bit of the water from the cooked chickpeas to get a more moist consistency! Next, just shape into some falafel looking like patties with your hands! VEGAN GARLIC BREAD 🍞 ⁣ Garlic bread is the best isn’t it? I mean is there anyone who doesn’t like garlic bread? If so, I’ve never met them.⁣ It’s just a pity when you realize that a lot of restaurant garlic bread is not vegan! What to do? Make it yourself !!⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣ 🔻2 large garlic bulbs⁣ 🔻1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided⁣ 🔻1/4 cup fresh basil, optional, or parsley⁣ 🔻1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste⁣ 🔻Dash red pepper flakes, optional⁣ 🔻1 loaf vegan Italian bread⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣ 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. ⁣ 2. Remove one garlic clove from one of the bulbs and set it aside.⁣ 3. Cut the tops off of your garlic bulbs, then arrange each on a sheet of foil. Drizzle each with a tablespoon of olive oil, then loosely enclose in the foil.⁣ 4. Roast the garlic until the cloves are soft and browned. ⁣ 5. Remove the garlic from the oven, loosen the foil, and allow the bulbs to cool for a few minutes. Leave the oven on.⁣ 6. When the garlic is cool enough to handle, squeeze the bulbs to extract the roasted garlic. It will be super soft.⁣ 7. Place the roasted garlic into the bowl of a food processor along with the raw garlic clove, 1/2 cup of olive oil, and salt. Blend until smooth.⁣ 8. The main ingredients to make poori are wheat flour, oil and water.⁣ And what’s more , it’s vegan , delightfully delicious and quite easy to make!😊⁣⁣ ⁣Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣⁣ 🔻2 cup wheat flour⁣⁣⁣ 🔻2 tbsp semolina ⁣⁣⁣ 🔻pinch sugar⁣⁣⁣ 🔻salt to taste⁣⁣⁣ 🔻water - to knead⁣⁣⁣ 🔻oil for deep frying⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣⁣⁣ 1. In a wide mixing bowl, add wheat flour, salt, pinch of sugar and semolina. Mix well.⁣⁣⁣ 2. Add water little by little and knead into smooth and soft dough.⁣⁣⁣ 3. Add little oil in the end.⁣ 4. Make small lemon sized balls.⁣⁣ 5. Roll the dough evenly into small circles using a rolling pin.⁣⁣⁣ 6. Keep in a plate and cover.⁣⁣⁣ 7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is sufficiently hot, add one puri and press with the ladle to puff up.⁣⁣⁣ 8. Once they puff, turn over.⁣⁣ 9. Fry the poori till it’s golden brown all over.⁣⁣⁣ 10. Delicious MOONG DAL TADKA🍛😋⁣⁣⁣⁣ Sometimes the most humble looking recipes are the most delicious! ⁣Even though this is the most common dish in my Indian cuisine, it enjoys an iconic place due to its distinct taste and aroma.⁣⁣⁣⁣ Ease your soul with food like dal tadka and chapati which are packed with all the goodness of protein rich lentils.🍛😋⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Recipe below 👇🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣⁣⁣ For the dal:⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 cup moong dal⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹½ inch ginger, crushed⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 onion, finely chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 to mato, finely chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹2 tsp garlic, crushed⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp turmeric powder⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp red chilli powder⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹cilantro , chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp coriander powder⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹salt to taste⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ For tempering:⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸2 tsp oil ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸1 tsp mustard seeds⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸1 tsp cumin seeds⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸3 red chilies, dried⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸pinch of asafoetida⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸½ tsp red chilli powder⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸½ tsp garam masala powder⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸few curry leaves⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣⁣⁣⁣ For dal tadka:⁣⁣⁣⁣ 1. Pressure cook 1 cup of moong dal with 4 cups of water for 20 mins.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and saute onions till they turn golden brown.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 3. Add crushed garlic , ginger, chopped tomatoes ,red chilli powder , turmeric and coriander powder and fry without burning the spices.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 4. Now add in cooked daal and mix well ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 5. Add salt to taste.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 6. Adjust the consistency by adding required water.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 7. 🥭 5 - INGREDIENT MANGO BURFI 🥭⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It takes only 5 ingredients and 30-minutes or less to whip up a batch of these delicacies.⁣⁣ My mom would make delicious sweets with the mangoes and my favorite is this Coconut Mango Burfi⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS⁣⁣ 🔸2 cups fresh grated coconut (frozen works well)⁣⁣ 🔸2 cups almond milk ⁣⁣ 🔸1 cup mango pulp (tinned works well) preferably made with Alphonso mangoes⁣⁣ 🔸1 cup sugar⁣⁣ 🔸1 teaspoon saffron⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Take a large heavy bottomed or a non-stick pan. Put it on medium-high heat. Add coconut, milk, mango pulp and sugar. Mix well.⁣⁣ 2. Keep stirring continuously for about 15 mins.⁣⁣ 3. The mixture will start to thicken and may stick to the pan. Keep scraping it off the pan and mix. Make sure the mixture is thickening without burning. The color should slowly deepen from yellow to orange.⁣⁣ 4. Add half of the saffron. Mix well and cook for another 5 mins.⁣⁣ 5. Lower the heat to medium-low as the bottom starts to brown and the mixture starts to form a ball. Cook for another 5 mins.⁣⁣ 6. Turn the heat off. Take the mixture out in a greased pan or a parchment lined tray. Press evenly with the back of a spatula ( a silicone spatula works well).⁣⁣ 7. Make half an inch thick layer by tightly pressing the mixture down and sideways to form a square.⁣⁣ 8. Garnish with more saffron. Special snack on a cold and rainy day - ⁣Spicy and Tasty Medu Vada ...😋😋⁣⁣⁣ A fav go-to snack at home!!😋😋 ⁣⁣⁣ Medu vada is a delicious South Indian fritter made in a doughnut shape, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Traditionally, it is teamed up with sambhar and coconut chutney⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The process of making restaurant style vadas at home is not difficult once you know the trick to get the perfect consistency of batter. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Ingredients:⁣⁣⁣ •1 cup of urad dal⁣⁣⁣ •2 tsp of rice flour⁣⁣⁣ •2 green chillies⁣⁣⁣ •few curry leaves⁣⁣⁣ •1 tbsp cilantro chopped⁣⁣⁣ •1 inch ginger chopped)⁣⁣⁣ •A pinch of asafoetida⁣⁣⁣ •salt to taste⁣⁣⁣ •oil to fry⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Instructions:⁣⁣⁣ •Wash and soak dal in about 3 cups of water for 2-3 hours.⁣⁣⁣ •Drain all the water from soaked dal and grind it to a smooth paste using very little water.⁣⁣⁣ •The batter should be thick .The right consistency is very important to get the perfect vada shape.⁣⁣⁣ •Add cilantro , green chilli , ginger to the batter ,2-3 tsp of rice flour (rice flour is added to make it crisp) and a pinch of asafoetida.⁣⁣ • Now heat oil in a pan on medium flame. ⁣⁣⁣ •Wet your palms and take a lime size batter,⁣make hole in the center and slide it into the hot oil.⁣⁣⁣ •Make sure your vadas cook evenly.⁣⁣⁣ • Fry both sides till it becomes golden brown in colour.⁣⁣⁣ •Serve medu vada with chutney or sambar. They’re quick to make , with little cleanup and are irresistible.😋⁣ ⁣Recipe below 👇🏻⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺2 cups Gluten free oat flour ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1 cup cocoa powder ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1 tsp baking powder ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1/2 tsp salt⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1 tbsp flaxseeds ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1/2 cup maple syrup ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1/4 cup almond milk ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1/4 cup applesauce ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1/4 cup coconut oil ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1tsp coffee extract ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺1tsp vanilla extract ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔺3/4 cup homemade raspberry vanilla chia jam FOR TOPPING⁣ 🔸1 cup vegan chocolates ⁣ 🔸2 tsp almond butter⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS: ⁣⁣ 1. preheat the oven to 350F . Line a 8x8 inch glass baking dish with parchment paper.⁣⁣ 2. In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients ⁣⁣ 3. In another bowl mix all the wet ingredients except the jam ⁣⁣ 4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix well ⁣⁣ 5. Gently fold the raspberry jam into the butter ⁣⁣ 6. Spoon the butter into the baking dish ⁣⁣ 7. Bake for 30 mins. ⁣⁣ 8. Let the brownies cool completely before removing them from the dish and cutting into bars. You can use a pizza cutter.⁣⁣ 9. Melt the chocolates in a bowl in the microwave in 20 second intervals. Attempt to stir after each time.Once it is smooth you can try drizzling with the end of a knife, mixing with a bit of melted almond butter to make more drippy.⁣ 10. When ready to frost, go around the sides with a knife, then invert each cake onto a large plate. ⁣⁣⁣ 11. Frost separately, then place one cake on top of the other if a double-layer cake is desired. At this point you can also frost the sides if you wish.⁣⁣⁣ 12. Keep them stored in fridge , where they should last a couple weeks.
