gluten free teriyaki tofu ✅ fried rice with all the vegetable and lil shrimp ✅ roasted tomatoes ✅ not the fastest meal (the friend rice I went all in for and it has so many veggies in it) but it was delicious and very much worth it! SPICY PEANUT TOFU SAUCE WITH BASMATI RICE Here is another tofu recipe that is perfect, simple and tasty and can be made under 30 mins A Clove of garlic One small onion or shallots 1 tsp maple syrup I tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp chilli sauce 1 tsp Cameroon pepper Half cup Vegmit stock 1/3 cup peanut paste or peanut butter Few cubes tofu 1tbsp veg oil Double, multiply the recipe as you wish... Saute onion and garlic for 2 mins add the rest of the ingredients , stir till it comes together, add the tofu and let cook till it thickens up..serve over rice and garnish with any veggie at home.. By @feelgoodfoodie Ingredients: 1/4 cup uncooked quinoa 2/3 cup water 1 15 oz can black beans rinsed and drained 3 oz tomato paste 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/3 cup breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon olive oil Burger buns and toppings of choice Steps: In a small pot, cook the quinoa with water and add salt to taste. Bring a boil, cover and simmer for 14 minutes. Uncover and fluff with a fork. In a large bowl, add the rinsed black beans and mash the bean fully with a fork or potato masher. Add the cooked quinoa to the black beans, then add the tomato paste, all the seasoning and the breadcrumbs. Form four patties. Heat olive oil in a grill pan, place the quinoa burgers in the pan and fry over medium heat for about 4 minutes per side. Spicy Braised Tofu // (Dubu-jorim: 두부조림) 𝕀𝕟𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 1 package of tofu 3 tablespoons cooking oil 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon sesame seeds 1 clove garlic, minced ½ cup minced onion 2 green onions, chopped For the sauce, mix in a small bowl: 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon hot pepper flakes ½ cup water 𝔻𝕚𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 Rinse tofu in cold running water and dry it with cotton or paper towel. Cut it into ¼ inch thick bite size pieces. Add the cooking oil to a non-stick pan and heat it up over high heat. Gently set the tofu onto the pan and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Rotate the pan to cook the tofu evenly. Cook another 7-8 minutes until both sides of each tofu piece are a little crispy and golden brown. Transfer the tofu to a plate. Keep the leftover oil. Heat up a small pan over medium high heat and add the leftover oil. Add chopped onion, garlic, and green onion (less 1 tablespoon, to be used for a garnish later). Stir for a few minutes until the onion gets a little crispy. Add the sauce and keep stirring until it reduces a bit and thickens. Add tofu and braise for a minute until the tofu absorbs some of the flavor of the sauce. Add sesame oil and stir. COPYCAT CHIPOTLE VEGAN SOFRITO A couple blocks of tofu and some spices are all you need for a flavor packed lunch that’s both healthy and very tasty! Here’s the recipe: -one small onion finely diced - 2 to 3 diced garlic cloves - sauté the garlic and onion in 2 tbs olive oil -crumble 2 blocks of firm tofu into the pan -add cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt and black pepper to the pan (a handful of chili powder and a few sprinklings of the others to your taste) -add handful or two of black beans and chickpeas -cook for 20 min -add 3 diced chilis in adobo -add 4 chopped scallions -add peppadew pepper brine and about 6-8 peppadews -cook for another 10 min or so to incorporate the flavors -top with chopped cherry tomatoes and some cilantro or parsley -serve over rice or in a tortilla . . . . #tofu #tofurecipes #veganrecipes #vegan #veganmexicanrecipes #veganmexicanfood #vegansofig #copycatrecipe #chipotle #veganlunch #veganlunchideas #veganlife🌱 #tofurecipe

Mapo tofu is love. When I was in Nepal, we used to visit Kung restaurant quiet often for this dish. My family loves this dish. chipotle style tofu- my family (meat eaters) loved this, they said the tofu was better than the meat, little steps to showing them how good vegan food can be, and education, really pays off. I had this with a little bit of guac added after, lots of salad and boiled veg! ☺️

TOFU KATSU CURRY 👇. . Nutrition might just be the single most important factor for training and recovery. If you eat well you can train harder, and recover quicker. . It’s easy to get stuck cooking the same 5 meals. So whether you’re plant based or not this is an easy recipe to add a healthy bit of variety to your meals. . I’ve been using nutritional yeast flakes rather than the cornflakes shown, as nutritional yeast contains probiotics, B12 and it’s a complete protein - meaning it contains all 9 essential amino acids. . Recipe by @sovegan For the tofu: 300g extra firm tofu Flour mix 1/4 cup plant-based milk 80g vegan cornflakes . Method: Cut the tofu and dip them into the flour mix, plant-based milk and the vegan cornflakes. Fry each side for 2-3 minutes. Bake them at 180°C for 15 mins (fan). . For the sauce: 1/2 onion 2 medium carrots 2 garlic cloves 1/2 tbsp curry powder 1/2 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp flour 300ml vegetable stock 2 tbsp coconut cream Salt and pepper to taste. . Method: Add the onion and carrots in a pan and fry for 7 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Add the curry powder, garam masala and flour and fry for 1 minute. Add the vegetable stock and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add the coconut cream, salt and pepper. Spicy Tofu and Eggplant Stir-fry with Bean Sprouts This dish is an upgrade of the ginisang togue that my mom used to cook way back then, adding into it my personal spin. We try to limit our daily intake of the saturated fat in red meat, so I substituted the pork giniling that she used with tokwa. I also substituted oyster sauce for soy sauce to add in more flavor. Just to throw in a tidbit of trivia: oyster sauce is one of those foods that naturally contain glutamate. So if you're trying to shy away from MSG but wants that umami flavor in your dish, this is one solution. I also added in eggplant, which I think is one of the most versatile vegetables out there (I think I already mentioned this in one of my earlier posts). Finally, I added in more heat, a taste I acquired later on in life, by adding more spices and hot sauce. Let's start! Ingredients (for 15 servings) • 15 mushrooms • 1 tablespoon canola oil • 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped • ½ tablespoon kosher salt • ½ tablespoon black pepper, freshly ground • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (225 g) • ¼ cup italian breadcrumbs (30 g) • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided (50 g) • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground • fresh parsley, chopped, to garnish . Preparation 1. Preheat oven to 350° F (180°C). 2. Cut the stems off of each of the mushrooms and finely chop them, setting the mushroom caps aside for later. 3. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat. Cook the chopped stems with the garlic, salt, and pepper for about six to eight minutes, constantly stirring. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Remove from heat. 4. In a medium bowl, combine cooked stems, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, half of the parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper, mixing until evenly combined. The mixture should be extremely thick. 5. Space out the mushroom caps evenly on a baking sheet, upside down. Spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on top of each mushroom. 6. Prenez le temp de bien manger ✨ INGRÉDIENTS pour 2 personne 250 g de tofu extra-ferme, coupé en tranche de 1 x 3 cm 1 ceuf battu 2 cuillerée à soupe de graines de sésame 2 cuillerée à soupe de graines de chanvre décortiquées 250 g de haricots verts coupés en deux 1 cuillerée à soupe de gingembre râpé 3 cuillerées à soupe de sauce soja 1 demi citron jaune 1 poignet de coriandre hachée 3cuillerées à soupe d'huile de pépins de ra 126 Disposez dans un premier bol l'œuf battu, mélangez les graines de chanvre et le sésame dans un second bol. I have been in love with Miso lately and trying my hand at different recipes involving Miso as the highlight ingredient. So this one is the second trial with miso paste after the miso glazed Tempeh! #recipe For the sauce - combine 1/4th cup low salt soy sauce, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 tablespoon miso paste and 1 tablespoon grated ginger. Give a mix and set aside. Just bake or pan fry firm & pressed Tofu. Heat up some peanut oil, add chopped spring onions and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes and add cashews, cut beans, mushrooms and carrots. Stir fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add in the tofu and Miso sauce. Stir and cook for a minute or two. 🌱Mix verduras con tofu y arroz integral🌱⁠ ⁠ Disponía de pak choi de la última compra que hice la semana pasada en el supermercado asiático. Cuando me enteré de que volvía a abrir 😱 salí corriendo a por verduras y reponer productos que se me habían acabado como el aceite de sésamo 💃🏽.⁠ ⁠ 🙌🏽 Y también disponía de tofu del @lidlespana de la marca Bio Organic el que tiene sabor natural. Últimamente estoy comprando este tofu y me encanta, es muy moldeable si quieres hacer wok, frito o rebozado y además es firme 👌🏽.⁠ He puesto a congelar un paquete de tofu a ver qué tal el resultado 😋.⁠ ⁠ ➡️En una sartén puse un chorrito de AOVE⁠ ➡️A continuación, añadí ajo y jengibre picado.⁠ ➡️Después el pack choi y las otras verduras como champiñones, zanahoria y cebolla. ⁠ ➡️Y el tofu a trozos.⁠ ➡️Rehogar un poco todo y después añadir un chorro de salsa de soja a tu gusto. ⁠ ➡️Por último, unas gotitas de aceite de sésamo, no más que porque el aceite de sésamo puede resultar ser empalagoso si te pasas en el plato. ⁠ ⁠ 🍚Para acompañar un poco de arroz integral, antes de cocinarlo lo dejo en remojo unos 15-20 minutos y luego a hervir. for the past time i have been trying to include as much veggies in to my diet as possible. i am trying to find balance in the amount of sweet and savoury things that i am eating so i am really focusing on adding different flavours to my plate this is about 70g of crispy fried tofu with barbecue sauce drizzled on, 30g of black rice (which is way more delicious than brown rice!) and a bunch of veggies i really love cucumbers and tomatoes but i am just starting to love fresh bell pepper cause it used to be absolutely unbearable for me. but i am so ready to challenge myself cause i do believe i need those extra vitamins

🌱💚Vegan Dinner💚🌱 Dinner in a hurry? The last week has been so hot, you really don’t wanna stand over stove cooking for hours. This is so simple it makes it self👏 I baked tofu in the oven, use whatever marinade you like, I made one with chili sauce, maple syrup, chili flakes, rice vinegar and garlic and baked in the oven until golden and a bit crispy on top. For veggies I used what I found in fridge, a squash, some carrots, red pepper bell and beets. I tossed the veggies in spices and cooked them in the air fryer. Heated some readymade sweet n sour sauce in a pot, cooked rice and mixed the veggies and tofu in the sauce and served with the rice. 🌱TERIYAKI TOFU BALLS🤤 ⠀ Terrific simple vegan recipe.😍 We are waiting for your like❤ ⠀ ✅Ingredients: ▪️1 pack of 16oz firm tofu, drained well⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ▪️1/4 cup chopped celery⁣⁣ ▪️1/4 cup chopped broccoli stem/jicama/water chestnut⁣⁣ ▪️1 small carrot, chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ▪️2.5 tablespoons starch⁣⁣ ▪️1-2 teaspoons salt (start with 1 first) ▪️a pinch of white pepper⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ▪️oil⁣⁣ ▪️your favorite grain & blanched broccoli⁣⁣ ⠀ ✅Teriyaki sauce: ▪️1 teaspoon minced garlic⁣⁣ ▪️1 teaspoon minced ginger⁣⁣ ▪️2 tablespoons soy sauce⁣⁣ ▪️2 tablespoons mirin ▪️1.5 tablespoons organic brown sugar/maple syrup⁣⁣ ▪️1/4 cup hot water⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 👩‍🍳How to: ▶️Mash tofu in a bowl, if it's too wet, use a paper towel to absorb moisture. Add in chopped veggies, starch, salt & white pepper to tofu & mix until well combined. Ingredients for 4 Onigirazu: - 4 nori sheets - 1 cup rice (measure uncooked) - 1 tbsp date paste (for the rice) - 4 tbsp rice vinegar - For the filling you can basically use anything you like ( we used stir fried tofu, mushroom with soysauce, lettuce, mango, avocado, red cabbage...) - 1 tbsp Mayonnaise (we had some aquafaba mayo, recipe soon ☺️) - Chili powder - Rice vinegar - Lemon juice . 🤤VEGAN SUMMER ROLLS🌈 ⠀ So delicious🤤 ​ ✅Summer Rolls ingredients: ▪️8-10 Spring Roll Rice Papers ▪️1 Carrot ▪️1 Yellow Bell Pepper ▪️1/2 Cucumber ▪️4-5 Romaine Leaves ▪️1/4 Purple Cabbage ▪️200 g Block of Tofu ▪️salt and pepper for seasoning ⠀ ✅Peanut Sauce ingredients:⠀ ▪️1/2 cup 8 tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter ▪️3 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar ▪️4 tbsp Coconut Milk ▪️4 tbsp Soy Sauce ▪️2 tbsp Maple Syrup ▪️1 inch Fresh Ginger ▪️1 clove garlic ⠀ 👩‍🍳How to: ▶️Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the tofu into 2cm batons, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. ▶️While the tofu is baking, chop all the vegetables into very thin strips. This will help them lay nice and flat in the rolls. ▶️To make the peanut sauce blend all the ingredients for the sauce until completely smooth. Set both the sauces aside. ▶️To assemble the summer rolls, soak the paper in lukewarm water until soft, then lay on a plate. Add in some tofu, and a few pieces of each vegetable. Finally I’m posting a new recipe. Yay!! This was a shop the pantry/fridge recipe! I had some quarantine supplies I wanted to use up, so I threw this together. I’m surprised how delicious this turned out to be and will add this to my list of go-to vegetarian dishes. This takes less then 30 minute to put together. You can make this recipe without tofu and add whatever protein you like! Fried Rice with Baked Tofu 🍲🍚 Fried Rice Ingredients • 1 cup rice • 2 cups water • 2 eggs • ½ cup frozen peas & carrots • Soy sauce, to taste • Oil Baked Tofu Ingredients: • ¼ cup nutritional yeast • 2 tbsp oil • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tsp garlic powder • 2 blocks super-firm or extra-firm tofu, drained 1. Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheet with a silicone mat. 2. In a large bowl, mix together nutritional yeast, soy sauce, oil, and garlic powder. Break the tofu block into small chunks and add them to the mixture. Toss the tofu well to evenly coat in the sauce mixture. Spread tofu evenly across the baking sheet and bake about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until lightly golden. 3. While the tofu is baking, start cooking the rice. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, once the water is at a boil add the rice and cook on low for 15-20 minutes. 4. Warm a wok or large saute pan on medium heat, add oil. Once the pan is hot crack in the two eggs and scramble. Add in the frozen veggies and let warm for a few minutes. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the saute pan and cook for 5 minutes. •MOVE OVER CHILLI PANEER, CHILLI TOFU IS TAKING OVER HERE• Now I love chilli paneer, but equally in our house we love tofu and using the same recipe but substituting it for crispy tofu is a total GAMECHANGER. A gorgeous plantbased dish loved by my whole family. Feel free to omit or reduce the amount of chilli if you don’t like it spicy. I usually add the fresh chilli on top so it works as a family meal 💖. Right, will anyone give this a go? .. Recipe: 400g firm tofu - cut into cubes and dried with kitchen roll 2 tablespoons cornflour 1 tablespoon light soy sauce 1 tablespoon grated ginger 1 teaspoon rice vinegar 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional) 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce 4 cloves of garlic - crushed 3 fresh green chillies - sliced on the diagonal (optional) 1 red pepper - chopped 1 green pepper - chopped 1 yellow pepper - chopped 1 red onion - chopped 1 teaspoon sesame oil .. 1. Toss the tofu in the cornflour. Shake off any excess. Heat a wok and add a tablespoon of oil, add the tofu and fry till crispy, remove from wok. 2. In the same wok, stir fry the garlic, ginger, peppers and onions (and chillies if you’re using) on a high heat for a few minutes till just starting to colour. Add the tofu back in. 3. Add the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sweet chilli sauce and sriracha and cook for a further minute or two. 3. Serve hot.

I LOVE this recipe!! Thank you “the foodie takes flight.com!” Stir-Fried Sweet Chili Tofu: Good for 2-3 servings 2 blocks extra firm tofu (around 240g each), sliced into cubes 1 heaping tbsp corn starch 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced into squares 2 tbsp sesame oil, for frying Onion leeks, chopped Sweet Chili Sauce ingredients: 6 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tbsp corn starch 2 tbsp coconut sugar or other sugar or choice 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup or other liquid sweetener 2 tsp chili sauce (I used sriracha) 1/8 cup or 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tsp sesame oil Dry the tofu and cut into cubes. I wrap the tofu in towels and place a plate on top of it until excess liquid is absorbed by the towels. You can also opt to use a tofu press. Sprinkle the salt on the tofu cubes. Add the cornstarch. Coat the tofu well. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the sauce. In a pan, heat around 1 1/2 tbsp of sesame oil and then fry the tofu cubes until crisp and golden. You may need to turn around the tofu cubes. Take out the tofu and sautee the onion leeks and bell peppers in a little sesame oil. Add in the tofu, sauce, and then mix well. The sauce will thicken from the corn starch. 🌱🥣Vegan rice bowl! Details: Forbidden Rice® from @lotusfoods, shredded red cabbage, carrot julienne, edamame, pan fried tofu, fresh herbs, quick pickled shallots, radish and chilies, and toasted sesame seeds. . For the tofu I buy a firm brick (loving the @hodofoods one because it doesn’t come in water so you don’t have to press it with paper towels and plates), cut it into cubes, sauté in olive oil until it browns and then salt lightly. . The quick pickled veggies I slice and put in ramekins. Then bring 1/2 c rice vinegar, 1/4 c water, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar to a boil. Pour over veggies and put in fridge for 30 minutes. You can add sliced ginger, garlic or spices for more nuanced flavor. . When I build the bowl, I add the cooked rice, then the cabbage, edamame and carrots dressed with some of the pickle juice and drizzle with olive oil. Jamaican Jerk Tofu - oooo I LOVE Tofu 💝💝⠀ ⠀ INGREDIENTS: ⠀ 1 brick tofu (firm or extra firm) ⠀ 3-4 cups Vegetables ⠀ 3/4 cup Rice⠀ 2 tbsp Olive or Coconut Oil⠀ Sauce (today is Jamaican Jerk Sauce, but any stir fry sauce you like is good, I also really like peanut sauce)⠀ Cilantro Vinaigrette to taste (optional, skipped today)⠀ Salt ⠀ ⠀ METHOD: ⠀ -Cook rice (when skipping vinaigrette use broth for the water 👍🏻) ⠀ -Drain & press water out of tofu block. (I just wrap it in a clean dish cloth and set a frying pan on top for a while.)⠀ -Cut tofu into imperfect cubes. Season with some salt.⠀ -Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.⠀ -Add tofu, fry until each side has a golden "fry" doesn't need to be a lot. It won't get really crispy.⠀ -Add veggies! Oil-free Vegan Foccacia!✨ Use to make sandwiches, dip in soups or stews or make pizza! 😍 By @eatmoreplants.no 👇recipe below👇 Prep time: 10 min Cook time: 30 min Raise time: 1 hr 35 min Total time: 2 hrs 15 mins Calories: 225 Ingredients (12 pieces) 8-9 cups spelt flour 1 package instant yeast 1 tsp salt 2,5 cups water 1 tsp maple syrup Instructions 1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, and salt. Then, add in the water and maple syrup. Using a spatula, fold until mostly combined. Sprinkle a little more flour if needed to not be sticky and form a ball. 2. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let sit for 60-90 minutes in a warm, draft free place until doubled. 3. When ready, cover a baking tray baking tray with parchment paper. Spread and stretch the dough to fill the tray. Cover the tray. Let it sit until doubled in size, approximately 35-45 minutes. 4. When ready, use your finger tips press down into the dough to make dimples all over the dough. Add rosemary, olives and salt on top. 5. Gli sformati di verdura sono sempre stati tra i miei piatti preferiti 🥗 . Nelle ricette più diffuse si utilizzano formaggi di vario genere e uova ma per una versione senza latte e senza uova il tofu si presta molto bene come sostituto! 😉 . 👉🏻Il tofu si ottiene dalla cagliatura del latte di soia ed è un alimento ricco di proteine vegetali! Spesso viene definito formaggio vegetale ma in realtà il suo sapore non ha niente a che vedere con il formaggio, anzi, mangiato così com’è non ha un gran sapore ma marinato o cucinato con altri ingredienti diventa molto più gustoso!🙌🏻 . Io solitamente lo faccio in 3 modi: marinato con salsa di soia e cotto al forno, frullato con altri ingredienti per ottenere un pate’ oppure come base per gli sformato di verdure, come nel caso di questa ricetta! 😊 . Ecco gli ingredienti per questo sformato di #tofu, #zucchine e #pomodori secchi 🥒🍅: - 350g di tofu (più o meno) - 500g di zucchine - 5 pomodori secchi - 1/2 cipolla - 2 cucchiai di lievito alimentare in scaglie - erbe aromatiche (menta e basilico) . Affettiamo la cipolla e la rosoliamo con qualche cucchiaio di olio, aggiungiamo quindi le zucchine a cubetti e lasciamo cuocere (non devono rimanere acquose). Nel frattempo tagliamo il tofu a cubetti e lo mettiamo in un robot da cucina. Aggiungiamo i pomodori secchi, le erbe aromatiche e il lievito alimentare quindi frulliamo fino ad ottenere un composto omogeneo. Aggiungiamo anche metà della zucchine e frulliamo nuovamente in modo grossolano. Traferiamo in un contenitore, aggiungiamo le restanti zucchine e mescoliamo. Travasiamo il composto in una pirofila da forno e cuociamo per circa 30-40 minuti a 180 gradi. Lasciamo raffreddare prima di servire! ✌🏻 .
