Recipe #4: Sugar-Free Apricot Flapjack #SugarFreeJune 'tis the season of apricots after all. These juicy sweet apricots were just the ingredient I needed to lift the natural balance of sweet and tang in this treat. Combined with the juicy bursts of baked raisins, the Suttle sweetness of the maple syrup, and the hazelnut crunch, this recipe is a new winner in my house. You will need 100g unsalted butter, 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts, 4 sliced ripe apricots, 1/2 cup raisins, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1.5 cups rolled oats.. In a deep pan, melt the butter on medium heat. The stir in the maple syrup until fragrant. Add in the cinnamon and hazelnuts, and stir for a minute before adding the apricots, raisins, and vanilla. Continue stirring the apricots until they soften (about 3 mins). Shut the heat off and fold in the oats. In an oven safe dish, lined with parchment paper, scoop the Flapjack mix in and press it firmly until it's flat. Then bake in a 180°C (350°F) oven for 30 mins. Thursday afternoon in Manila and as always, the weather is warm. Hope everyone is doing well and spreading positivity. This morning I made chocolate lava cake baked oats, it tastes just like dessert! So decadent and easy to make 💕. Below is the recipe :) . . Recipe: 1/3 cup oats, blended into flour 1/2 mashed banana A bit more than 1/4 milk Pinch of salt and vanilla extract 2 tsp cacao powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp ground flax seeds (optional) 1 tbsp nut butter (optional but adds a lovely creaminess in the middle!) Preheat oven to 190 C. Mix all ingredients except the nut butter and pour into a oven safe bowl. If desired, add a tbsp of nut butter right in the middle of the batter. Bake for 15-20 minutes. VEGAN LEMON DONUT HOLES // healthy, vegan, 3 main ingredients, 5 minutes prep 🍋⛸ - clearly i couldn’t stop thinking about these donut holes since the last time so i made more in one of my fav flavours: lemooon 🤪 still can’t decide which flavour is my flavour though hahha && these are actually so simple to make i even had time to make & eat ‘em right before my class started MHM WE LIVE FOR QUICK & EASY RECIPES DON’T WE✌🏼 - — lemon donut holes — — dough — - 1/4 cup self-raising flour (make your own: add 1/2 tsp baking powder) - 2 tbsp yoghurt (add more/less until a sticky dough forms) (use vegan if preferred) - 1 tsp lemon juice (optional but make sure to add it in the glaze) - 1 tsp sweetener (opt but make sure to add it in the glaze) — lemon glaze — - 2 tbsp yoghurt - 1 tbsp lemon juice - lemon zest - 1 tsp sweetener

Just realised something today .. clicking kulfis and ice creams can get really tricky!! You want some nice shots with a perfect background..and you have to do it fast, coz no one likes a melting mush!! 😬😬 Well... Made a really interesting kulfi inspired by @natashaagandhi 's recipe !! Just added my little twist in it!! So here is my Lauki Oats Kulfi!! . . I can bet it turned out so good... As Natasha said, no one would be able to tell there's Lauki in it!! 😋😋 And nobody actually did!! 😊 So here is a quick recipe: . 🍨Boil 500 ml of milk till it reduces to half it quantity. Keep stirring. Add 3-4 crushed green cardamom for the flavour. 🍨 Grind coarsly 2 tbsp of instant oats and mix with a little milk first and then add in the boiling milk. Make sure there are no lumps. 🍨 Grate 200 gm of peeled lauki . Keep aside. 🍨 Now when the milk is reduced, add a few tbsp of milk to the lauki and grind it well to a paste. 🍨 Add to the milk mixture and keep stirring till it thickens further. Keep flame on medium low. 🍨 Now when its thick enough as a kulfi mixture, switch off the flame and let it cool a bit! 🍨 When its lukewarm, add grated Jagger as per taste. Add a little more than you would like coz as it chills, you will feel it less sweeter ( feedback by my family 😋) 🍨 Pour in kulfi moulds or any container you would like and freeze overnight! 🍨 Enjoy in the morning topped with some nuts! . . . CHOCOLATE MOUSSE SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH RASPBERRIES & COCONUT . The addition of frozen avocados with the frozen banana takes this to another level and gives it that mousse-like texture. A really simple and easy recipe for an epic breakfast that’s perfect to eat in the sunshine! Here the recipe if you want to recreate it: Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, sliced before freezing 1/2 frozen large avocado, diced before freezing 15g Choc & Nut Vegan Protein Powder (use any chocolate-based protein powder) 15g cacao powder 15ml Liquid Syrup/maple syrup 40-60ml unsweetened almond milk, start with 40ml and add more milk if needed. Toppings: Raspberries, frozen Chocolate granola (can sub for any granola) Cacao nibs  Chocolate Spread or any low calorie chocolate spread/chocolate sauce Toasted coconut flakes or desiccated coconut Method: Blend the smoothie ingredients together in a high speed blender until completely blended. It takes time to blend together so don’t be tempted to keep adding more milk in to loosen it. Top with the granola, raspberries, cacao nibs, toasted coconut flakes and chocolate sauce. Did a thing last night & made overnight oats for the first time! When this became a popular thing I picked up a container at Trader Joe's but didn't really like it, there were dates in it & since I don't normally eat that I think that might of been why hahaha.... . . Chocolate protein porridge Another one of my favourite breakfasts I have at least once a week after I have trained. Packed with protein and carbs, great to help you refuel. Ingredients 1 tsp cinnamon 50g oats 200ml unsweetened almond milk 30g chocolate protein powder (I use collagen protein, which is great for your skin) A large spoonful of fat free Greek yoghurt Handful of berries or flaked almonds Method Combine all ingredients in a pan apart from the yoghurt, berries and almonds. Slowly bring to a simmer over a low to medium heat. Add more milk or water if you wish depending on the consistency you prefer. Then serve in a bowl and add the yoghurt, berries and nuts. This only takes a few minutes to make so great if you are struggling for time. Well, oatmeal is called “hot cereal” for a reason, right? Comment down below if you like adding milk to your oats! Personally, I think it adds a nice creaminess while cooling down the hot oats so I can get them in my mouth faster, which is a big plus am I right? In this bowl I cooked the oats with water and added some ground flax and cinnamon when the oats were about halfway done cooking. It was 😋😋 • Oat tip: try adding chopped frozen banana to your oats as they cook. IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! Woohoo! Today I’m turning 19 years old and I’m so excited. 18 was amazing so I can’t wait to see what opportunities I’ll have and memories I’ll make while I’m 19. Jest jedną z najmłodszych roślin uprawnych - pojawił się kilka tysięcy (!) lat później niż np. jęczmień i pszenica. 🌾 W INCI najczęściej występuje w postaci ekstraktu/mączki z ziaren, tj. 𝙰𝚟𝚎𝚗𝚊 𝚂𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚊 𝙺𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚕 𝙴𝚡𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝/𝙿𝚘𝚠𝚍𝚎𝚛/𝙵𝚕𝚘𝚞𝚛. 🌾 𝚆 𝚔𝚘𝚜𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚢𝚌𝚎: preparaty z owsem mają właściwości regenerujące i łagodzące skórę. Dlatego dermatolodzy często polecają dermokosmetyki z owsem lub wyciągiem z owsa osobom z AZS, czy z cerom wrażliwą i suchą. Pomaga także skórze z egzemom, łuszczycą czy innymi schorzeniami skórnymi. Pomaga też przy leczeniu łuszczącej się czy opryszczkowej skóry wokół ust. Today I'm sharing one of my favorite 5 min brekkie recipes 😍😍😍 · I use similar basic ingredients but a different twist and toppings every time, so it feels like a whole new breakfast each day!! · Everything for just about 300 cal in this case. If you want to lower the calories easily, just don't use chocolate chips, it will be delicious anyway! 😋😋😋 · WHITE CHOCOLATE-PEACH OAT CAKE (1 serv) · · 40 gr quick Oats · 20 gr Almond milk · 1 tbs Yogurt (I used peach flavour) · 80 gr Egg whites · little Salt · 1 ts Cinnamon · 1 ts Vanilla extract · 1 Peach · 1-2 tbs White chocolate chips · 1 ts Honey · Combine all the ingredients in a mug (just 1/4 of the peach, chopped finely and half of the chocolate chips). Cook on the microwave for 2 min on max. Slice finely the rest on the peach. Distribute the slices on a plate and put the little cake on them, turning it upside down. Chia Oat Waffles!! (Vegan Recipe down below) • Hello, I’m back!! I decided to start posting my regular content again. However, that does not mean I’ll stop spreading information via my Instagram story in hopes to benefit the blm movement and to educate others. I love sharing recipes and my progress with everyone and am happy to continue to do so😌 • This is my FAVORITE waffle recipes as it combines one of my favorite breakfasts(oats) into one of my favorite childhood breakfast treats. Not only are these waffles just mightily tasty, but they also have a lot of beneficial nutritions through the added in chia seeds and oats. This also suits both vegans and non-vegans 🥰 • • #deats put 1 1/4 cups rolled oats in a blender and blend until the oats reach the consistency of flour. Then pour into a bowl with 3/4 cup plant milk of choice(I use almond), 1/8 cup maple syrup, 1 tbsp chia seeds and mix. Then, place the mixture into a waffle press. I topped mine with peanut butter(naturally), banana coins, and blueberries!! 😋

Here my top tips to level-up your next oatmeal bowl! . . 1) chop up a banana and add it when you are making the oatmeal! 🍌 . . 2) stop the heat a minute before your right consistency 😇 (oatmeal hardens over time and you want it to be soft while you are assembling the toppings!) . . 3) use milk (the more you add, the thicker!!) 😗 the instructions on your oatmeal packet probably says 1/2 cup oatmeal & 1 cup water — but try using 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup water (thank me later 😉) . . 4) add spices (eg. cinnamon) & sweeteners (eg. honey) and mix it into the oatmeal! 🤩 . . 5) add sliced/dried fruit, sprinkle those seeds and chopped nuts! go crazy ANDD don’t forget ur drizzle of honey or wtv u like 😋 . . go check out my post for more info and ideas!!! vegetable Oats poha An absolutely delicious and healthy savory recipe from oats The first time I tried this recipe, I messed it up and ended soaking the oats till they were mushy. Though the taste was great, the texture was definitely not what I wanted. This time I sprinkled water on the oats and the result was perfect! Amazing taste and definitely good enough to picture! So after a couple of tries the recipe is here Recipe Quick Oats 1 cup Onion - 1 Capsicum -1/2 Green Peas 1/2 cup Roasted Peanuts 1/4 cup Mustard Seeds 1 tsp Asafoetida a pinch Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Green Chilli 1-2 Curry Leaves 2-3 Oil 2 tbsp Salt, Lime Juice . ✅Sprinkle a few tbsp water on the oats and lay it in a sieve. ✅Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them pop. Then add asafoetida and cumin seeds. Once they pop, add curry leaves and green chilli. Then add diced onions and saute till translucent. ✅Once the onions are cooked, add roasted peanuts , capsicum and peas. Saute for a couple of minutes and add the drained oats. Add the turmeric powder and chilli powder. Mix well. Season with a tsp of salt, and juice of half a lime. Mix it all well, cook covered for a couple of minutes. ✅Do not overcook and do not keep mixing it else the oats will become mushy.
