Believe it or not there’s an entire zucchini in this oatmeal bowl😱😱and you can’t even taste it! . I’m always looking for way to add in more veggies, and some are more successful than others😬but with this combo you can’t even taste it! Next time I might add a little less for texture’s sake, but live and learn🤷🏽‍♀️ . I used: 🌻1/2c quick cook oats 🌻1c water (or milk) 🌻1 smallish zucchini, finely grated 🌻2-3T @crazyrichardspb PB 🌻1/2c raspberries 🌻1/2c diced strawberries 🌻cinnamon or vanilla for flavor . Just microwave the oats, water, and zucchini for 1.5 minutes, then stir in everything else! Galletitas de avena y crema de maní 🥜 🍪 🔅INGREDIENTES; (15 galletas aprox) ↪️ 1 1/2 taza de avena, 2 plátanos 🍌, 2huevos, 2 cdas de crema de maní @skippymex, 1cdita de esencia de vainilla. 🔅PREPARACIÓN; en un bowl agrega los 2 plátanos y machácalos con un tenedor, agrega los 2 huevos y la vainilla y bates con tu tenedor (todos la preparación será a mano, nada de licuadora) —>> agregas la avena y tienes que ir combinando los ingredientes así como los vas agregando, ya que está una masa homogénea, agregas las 2 cdas de crema de cacahuate y vuelves a mezclas bien bien todos los ingredientes hasta tener una masa espesa, déjala reposar por 20min. 🔅 Ahora cubre una charola con papel encerado y haz tus bolitas o la forma que quieras darle a tus galletitas, ponlas en tu charola y llévalas al horno a 180 grados por 15 min ( recuerda que cada horno es diferente checalas constantemente) y LISTO ! #healthyrecipes #cookfit #cookies #oatmealrecipes #fit

Deets👇🏼 - 1/3 cup steel cut oats to the pot (could use any oats you have) - Cover with about a cup of water/milk - Add the zest and juice of 1/2 a lemon - A teaspoon each of poppyseed and chia seeds - A squirt of honey (add as much sweetness as you like) - Splash of vanilla - Pinch of salt - Cook it all down until thick and creamy . my last snack for #maysnackweek is some oatmeal chocolate bars... ohhh boy💩 we had a veggie snack, then a fruit snack... so I HAD to do a delicious dessert/snack to finish off my part of the collab!! my thoughts: I used 1 cup of butter, and while the whole fam loved them, they were a little too buttery for my taste, so I’d recommend using 1/2 butter, 1/2 coconut oil :) otherwise, these were delicious and were the perfect dessert or mid afternoon snack!! ingredients: **oatmeal: 3 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla **chocolate filling + drizzle: 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter) 1. melt butter, oil and brown sugar in a pot over medium heat till it’s all melted and dissolved. stir in vanilla and oats. 2. scoop 1/2 of the oatmeal mixture and press into the bottom of a 7x5 inch pan. (for thinner bars use a larger pan) 3. melt chocolate chips and nut butter until smooth, and pour over oatmeal. **save a tad bit for the drizzle** scoop the remaining oatmeal and flatten on top of the chocolate. drizzle chocolate on top 4. freeze for 2 hours before serving. let it come to room temp before cutting. ENJOY

I know y’all got the tips!🙌🏼 . . Soooo you can check my stories for the video on the whole process (complete with fairy sound effects), but essentially I pretty much always put in the same key ingredients: vanilla extract for flavor (it lessens the amount of sweetener you need to put into your oatmeal), honey (full of antioxidants that fight free radicals), cinnamon (an anti-inflammatory), and collagen (aids in bone health). And it’s oh-so-good! Many times I will add some sort of fruit, whether it be berries, cut up apple, or slices of banana! If I’m feeling fancy, I’ll even add almond butter. If I’m feeling fanciER, I might even add a dollop of Greek yogurt😁 Now, if I’m feeling fanciEST, I’ll throw in some nuts and seeds for example cashews, almonds, pumpkin seeds, or hemp-seeds for protein.😆 (sidenote: my hub’s best friend @camsnoguera says if you throw nuts and seeds into anything it will be a “francine” recipe. 🤣 im not gonna fight him on that lol). Since we’ve already taken it this far, let me add that you can even add some coconut shavings. You get the point. Get creative! Have fun! CEREAL PANCAKES🥞 Así el desayuno de hoy!!! Como buena #pancakelover no me resistí a ésta tendencia de cuarentena😬 pancakes en versión mini. Es de lo más cute ese tamañito 🥰 pero la verdad el hacerlos si requiere de paciencia y de una duya o recipiente con boquilla para que vacíes la mezcla porque si no nomás no te van a salir redonditos en ese tamañito. La idea es recrear como un cereal pero en versión hotcakes, yo me los comí así solitos solo agregando miel🍯 por cierto los hice en mi versión saludable. I’M BACK! Took a little hiatus off of this account - wasn’t too motivated to post and didn’t want to just “post to post” so decided to spend some much needed time with family but I honestly missed sharing recipes with y’all! Since we’ve all been baking so much more but the time for being in a swimsuit is finally here (insert nervous laugh) I’ve been trying to figure out a “healthier” alternative to a lot of the yummy treats out there. I changed up a normal oatmeal cookie recipe and made it a bit better by adding craisins instead of raisins plus no added sugar or butter :) Depending on the size of the cookies you make these bad boys come out to around 90-95 calories and taste so delicious! • ~DARK CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CRAISIN COOKIES~ (Yields about 15-18 cookies) • INGREDIENTS: -1 cup old fashioned oats (I used @bobsredmill) -3/4 cup unbleached flour (you can def sub wheat or GF) -1 tsp vanilla (you guys already know I definitely added more than this) -2 tbsp coconut oil -1/2 cup craisins -1 handful of dark chocolate chunks to your liking -1/4 tsp of Himalayan pink salt -1 tsp ground cinnamon -1/2 cup pure maple syrup -1 1/2 tsp of baking powder -1 large egg • DIRECTIONS: -mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a medium mixing bowl -in a separate bowl combine the coconut oil, egg, and vanilla while slowly stirring in the maple syrup; Slowly add in flour mixture -carefully fold in the craisins & half of the chocolate and chill in the fridge for about 30 minute so -preheat oven time 325 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper -the dough is super hard to roll so use an ice cream or cookie scooper to line the baking sheet with cookies -carefully press the rest of the chocolate onto the cookies and bake for 9-12 minutes • TIPS: -this is the “healthier” version so you can definitely sub butter for the coconut oil if you’re not a fan -you can also sub raisins instead of craisins too! • #loveurbanliving #cookies #healthycookies #cookierecipes #quarantinerecipes #chicago #chicagofood #chicagoeats #chicagofoodie #chicagorecipes #discoverunder1k #discoverunder2k #discoverunder5k #oatmealrecipes

Other days I want to sleep in and never leave my bed. Every day is different, so if you know your body would benefit from an early start, DO IT! If you’re body is like heck no I need a day in bed, DO IT. Anyways hope everyone has a lovely Thursday:)) almost the weekend🤗 • • • Here are the #dEATS: blueberry-banana bakes oatmeal👇🏼 ✰ preheat oven to 375, and put coconut oil on 8x8 pan. ✰Mix dry ingredients: 👇🏼 2 cups of rolled oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of salt. ✰ Add in and mix wet ingredients: 👇🏼 1 smashed banana, 1 egg, 2 cups of oat milk, 1/4 cup of maple syrup, 2tbsp of coconut oil (melted), 2 tsp of vanilla. ✰ Fold in 1 cup of blueberries or whatever fruit you want! ✰I sprinkled @purely_elizabeth granola on top. ✰pour into pan and bake for 50 mins! Good morning 🌞 It’s starting to feel like summer here in Sweden and I love it! Even though I’m inside studying all day it’s nice to take a break and go for a walk/run in the sun. But in exactly one week I have my exam then after that I’m free 🙌🏻 well at least for a weekend then work starts 😆 Today’s plan is to go through old exams, head to the gym (they’re open in Sweden) and to strength taining (can’t walk/run because my foot hurts). ⠀ Anyways, moving on to the food details: • 40 g oats • 200 ml water • pinch of salt Cooked on the stove • 1 scoop cinnamon bun casein mixed in • peanut butter • fresh (!! usually to expensive for me🙈) blueberries • @waldenfarmsinternational pancake syrup ⠀ Have a good day🌟

Oatmeal doesn't get the recognition it deserves, just saying. Yes, this creamy deliciousness for many of us brings back nostalgic memories of our childhood, but it's also loaded with important vitamins, minerals and antioxidant plant compounds. It also is really great for weight loss because of the high fiber content, it actually keeps you full longer. 🌱 . Making your own oatmeal, you know the one that doesn't come out of a presweetened baggie is actually very easy. This way you control how much sugar you are consuming. I typically will add some of these things: dried cranberries, nuts, nut butter, cinammon, vanilla, agave or a small amount of brown sugar. I add almond mylk to a small pot, then the oats and cook on low. I just eye ball it. It really depends if you like it thick or not. If its too thick slowly add mylk. As its cooking, I add the sweetener, seasonings and nut butter and toppings at the end. 🌱 . THIS oatmeal was made with a small amount of banana, cinammon, vanilla, walnuts and coconut flakes because that's what my kids like. I switched it up today and made a warm apple topping. These were diced and put in a small pot on low with a little cinnamon, butter, and agave. The whole process took me 10 minutes and since it was on low, I didn't have to watch it. Oatmeal can be a great snack as well, and can be liquefied with extra mylk as a tasty oatmeal smoothie. peaches & cream oatmeal! so eager to get fresh peaches next time I go to the store! I had to use frozen ones this time, but it was still delicious😋 I made it by cooking old fashioned oats on the stove & adding cinnamon. Then, I added it to a bowl with some vanilla Greek yogurt & topped it with vanilla granola clusters + peach slices!

🍓Mini Strawberry Loaf🍞 [recipe] dry ingredients: 1 cup oat flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 4 packets sweetener wet ingredients: 50gr yoghurt(I used blueberry yoghurt) 1/4 cup milk 1/3 cup egg whites strawberries(I used around 50gr) • [steps] 1. Mix your dry ingredients in a bowl and then add your wet ingredients(except strawberries). 2. Slice your strawberries and leave some for the top. Then add your strawberries into the batter and mix. 3. Transfer the batter into a mini loaf pan and top it with the left over strawberries. 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 20-25 minutes.

Zabpehelyhet, olajos magvakat, aszalt gyümölcsöt, kakaóport, fahéjat, kókuszt, mézet, chia magot… mindent, amit szeretsz, mehet bele 😎⁣ ⁣ Folyadéknak pedig mehet rá: tej, joghurt, vagy víz ( én forró vizzel leöntve eszem)…⁣ ⁣ Tippem: én ezt a keveréket hetente egyszer megcsinálom, (sőt felaprítom konyhai robotgépben) és mehet egy jól zárodó tárolóba, ahonnan reggelente csak ki kell venni a megfelelő mennyiséget és már lehet is enni… 🤸‍♂️😎⁣ ⁣ ⁣ @changewithreni

OATMEAL PANCAKE 🥞🍓 INGREDIENTS 1 egg 1 tsp honey 1/2 banana pinch of salt 1 tsp coconut oil 1 tbsp cacao powder 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp cinnamon powder 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract 1/2 cup gluten free oatmeal 1/2 cup unsweetened almond yoghurt Mix altogether except coconut oil. TOPPINGS 5 pecans 5 walnuts 1/2 banana raspberries blueberries 1 tsp pumpkin seeds PREPARATION On a pan add coconut oil and the mixture. Cover the lid. When pancake corners become more steady turn around (not going to be perfect, but it's ok). Press on the pancake with the pancake spoon (or regular spoon) and close the lid again for less than 1min. Add the TOPPINGS. Drizzle with honey. O V E R N I G H T . Rien de tel avec ces chaleurs qui commencent à arriver qu’un overnight bien frais avec un bon topping chocolat fondant. . Je suis sur que tu plongerais bien dedans 🙈 . 📊 Valeurs : - 520kcal pour le porridge et le nappage (C70, F17, P25) . 📌Recette : - 80gr de flocon d’avoine - 400ml d’eau - 1 poire - 15gr de whey goût au choix (ici Whey Riz au Lait) . Pour le nappage : - 15gr de @pb2foods - 5gr de cacao 100% - eau . 🥣 Instructions : Mélange les flocons et l’eau. Place le mélange au micro-ondes 3 minutes. Après ce temps mélange la préparation pendant 30 sec, puis replace à nouveau 3 minutes au micro-ondes. Ajoute la poire en morceaux et la whey dans la préparation. Here is a quick and easy breakfast that satisfies that sweet tooth without the sugar spike....kinda haha. If you're ever in the mood for apple pie in the morning, give this a try! You can also top with yogurt to make it even better. :) This recipe was actually inspired by a video I came across talking about dessert oatmeal! They had a blueberry baked oatmeal and it made me think about pies. What's better than apple pie on a nice summer day? Apple Cinnamon Stovetop Oats 🍎 1/2 medium apple (cubbed) 🍎 2-3 tsp ground cinnamon 🍎 1-2 tbsp of agave nectar or honey 🍎 1/3 cup quick oats 🍎 3 tbsp almond milk 🍎 1 tsp chia seeds Tip: Heat up a nonstick pan on the stovetop. Add half an apple (cubed) onto the pan along eith the agave nectar and cinnamon. Stir and allow to combine. Then add the quick oats, chia seeds, and almond milk and stir to cook through. Then remove and plate. Note: You can add more cinnamon or agave nectar/honey according to how much you like! I like a lighter flavor but feel free to double if you want! Oatmeal is really one of my favorite breakfasts🤷🏻‍♀️ . I always add peanut or almond butter on top of my oatmeal👉🏻 one of the things that make it so good 😍 Did you know that a peanut is actually a legume, not a nut??🤯 Nuts grow on trees while peanuts grow in pods underground, like other legumes. However, the nutrient profile of peanuts are similar to those of tree nuts 👉🏻 they are very rich in healthy unsaturated fats, contain protein & fiber and are high in vitamins & minerals (such as vitamin E & magnesium)! Studies have also shown that peanuts and nuts can reduce the risk of heart disease (when they are eaten regularly & in an acceptable quantity). . . Recipe: . -1/3 cup oats -2/3 cup soy beverage -1 small banana (mashed) -1 Tbsp chia seeds -1/2 tsp cinnamon . Bring the soy beverage to a simmer in a saucepan. Add the oats & cook for about 2 minutes on medium-low heat. Add in the remaining ingredients & cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add your desired toppings & enjoy! . I topped mine with almond butter (a large Tbsp), a few crushed walnuts (gives it a nice crunch 👌) & caramelized banana slices (sliced up half a banana & heated it in a pan with a bit of coconut oil, maple syrup & cinnamon) 😛

VEGAN 4-INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BREAKFAST COOKIES✨ • The best way to Monday: 1) make breakfast cookies 2) briefly freeze Greek yogurt 3) fill breakfast cookies with cold yogurt and drizzle with PB 4) pat yourself on the back for a job well done • Seriously, these are the worlds softest and chewiest cookies. And considering they are breakfast-approved, I’d recommend jumping on board asap! • Recipe adapted from @choosing_balance. Double batch bc duhhh. • Whisk together 2 cups melted peanut butter, 3 cups rolled oats, 1 large ripe banana (mashed) and 1/2 cup of agave syrup. Let the batter sit for 10 minutes while the oven preheats to 350F. Scoop batter, making 16 cookies. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
