🌱🍋 weightlosswell.daily 🐛180 lbs —> 150 lbs🦋⁣ 🐛i’ve been doggin on myself this whole quarantine time about how I’m not moving enough, not working out enough, not eating right...but sometimes I just need to look at how far I’ve come so I’ll stop putting myself down!!!⁣ ⁣ 🦋everytime I see the photo on the left, I can’t help but smile and appreciate how far I’ve come over the last 3 and a half years!! ⁣ ⁣ Left photo is December 2016. I was doing a little cardio here and there. Some days I would nearly starve myself eating salads and grilled chicken. Other days I would get a huge sugary drink at starbucks and donuts. There was NO balance whatsoever ! ⁣ ⁣ Right photo is March 2020. I’ve been lifting consistently since August 2017. I eat what I want but stick to healthy foods for the majority of the time and have chocolate just about everyday! Lollipop lamb chops 🍭🥩 • These were the juiciest & most tender lamb chops 😍 we bought a rack of lamb from @costco and grilled them on our cast iron. • Seasoning🧂👇 My fiancé made his own herbs de Provence with what we had! • rosemary • thyme • oregano 🌿 it was a good mix on the lamb! • Hate cleaning a cast iron pan!? Me too! I learned a great trick online •• once you’re done cooking your meal & after the pan is cooled, add enough water to fill the bottom of the pan and turn the stove on medium heat for about 5-8 minutes. Empty the pan and wipe clean! 💚💚 Okay so disclaimer right away: the term ""hack"" in this sentence does not refer to or imply you can hack your body's physiology. Life doesn't work that way no matter what secret or code breaking news weight loss programs tell you. What I will say though is there are simple life hacks that make losing fat a whole heck of a lot easier and more enjoyable. Some hacks include: eating more fruits and veggies (high volume, nutrient-dense foods that provide ample nutrition and satiation for very few calories, making you feel fuller without the additional caloric load. Save this if you’re looking for something sweet to snack on ✨ Basically a cinnamon raisin cookie in granola form. GRAIN-FREE + NUTRIENT-PACKED CINNAMON RAISIN GRANOLA⚡️ I’ve been wanting to make my own granola for forever + I finally went for it 🙌🏻 It’s way better than any store bought granola + also has cleaner ingredients! It also only takes about 10 min to throw together + while it’s cooking the cinnamon smell that fills your apt/house is dreamy ☁️ (Don’t leave out the almond extract- it gives it an amazing flavor!!) ★ Grain-Free Cinnamon Raisin Granola 2 cups pecans 1 cup walnuts 1/2 cup hemp seeds 1/4 cup chia seeds 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1/3 cup maple syrup (or honey) 1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon 1 tbsp almond extract 1 tbsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup raisins Dash of sea salt ★ Preheat oven to 250° F. Crush walnuts + pecans in food processor or blender for about 30 seconds, until chunky. Combine with other ingredients in a bowl. Place mixture on a baking sheet + bake for 55-60 min. Homemade Granola 🤍🧸 •vegan + gluten-free • • •pre-heat oven to 350F •in a large bowl, mix: •1/3 cup cashews •1/2 cup coconut flakes •1.5 cups gluten-free oats •1/3 cup pumpkin seeds •1/3 cup hemp seeds •1/3 cup chia seeds •1/2 cup almond butter •1/2 cup maple syrup •1 spoonful vanilla extract •sprinkle of cinnamon •spread your granola flat on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes •remove from oven and flip/toss granola around, and place back in oven to bake for ~7 more minutes or until golden brown

CACAO BANANA BREAD GRANOLA🍌🍌 This is SO SO clustery and delicious • • I had lots of ripe bananas and was going to make banana bread but thought I'd try something else! • • This granola is GF/Vegan and can be made nut free by substituting the nut butter for a seed butter and the almonds for seeds like sunflower seeds! • • Recipe: - 2 cups oats - 2tbsp cacao powder - 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds - 3 tbsp chia seeds - 1 cup slivered almonds - 1 banana - 1/3 cup almond butter - 3 tbsp maple syrup - Cinnamon • • Bake at 300F for 15 min, then stir and bake for another 15 min • • Let them cool completely before being them away- if you put the granola away when it is still hot it will become soft and ruin the crispiness of this delicious granola! • • Enjoy and HAPPY HAPPY weekend woohoo!! HOMEMADE GRANOLA [gf+paleo] . goodness in a jar!!! thanks to peanut and almond sensitivities, I can eat about 0.01% of store-bought granolas. And even when I find one I can eat, it’s full of sugars and ingredients I’m not too fond of. But SOLUTION!! I just make my own when I’m feeling like granola, and it’s 10x better anyway- - -especially when u sneak it fresh out of the oven. This looks difficult, but it’s really not ;-)) . Which team are you Fresh or Frozen? 🌱❄⁣ ⁣Made by @smoothieplan Did you know there is almost no difference in nutritional value when it comes to fresh vs frozen produce?⁣ ⁣ Frozen fruit might have more nutrient dense properties as they are picked when its ripe & immediately frozen.⁣ ⁣ Usually, no chemicals are added to produce before freezing. During the process from being picked to frozen, fruit and veggies are usually washed, blanched, cut frozen and packaged all within a few hours.⁣ ⁣ Most fresh fruit & veggies are picked before they are ripe and will ripen during transportation. They can be in transportation anywhere from 3 days to several weeks (up to 12 months for certain produce) before arriving to a distribution centre. Low FODMAP (hopefully, since I made this up) granola made from corn flakes, rice puffs, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pecans, slivered almonds, cocoa nibs, with brown sugar and olive oil to bind. All relatively low-FODMAP ingredients. But I’ve learned that for many things it’s more about quantity - low FODMAP becomes high when consumed in excess. Now that I think about it, I think my intense consumption of plant-based milk may be part of the problem... (I guess I’ll have to eat this granola by itself or with coconut yogurt then) . Eat your fats!⁣ ⁣ Unlike carbohydrates and protein, fat does not stimulate the release of insulin (a fat storing hormone) and slows gastric emptying + stimulates release of bile to emulsify fats via activation of cholecystokinin (CCK).⁣ ⁣ Fat also increases satiety (fullness), is important for absorption of your fat soluble vitamins (A, K, E, D), the proper function of your nerves and brain, and proper hormone and cell communication.⁣ ⁣ As a general rule of thumb, avoid industrialized man-made fats/oils and opt for whole food fats. Say no more- here’s the easiest ever fool proof recipe. 3 c oatmeal 1/2 c almonds 1/4 c chopped walnuts 1/2 c pumpkin seeds 1/4 c chia seeds 1/4 c flax seeds 1/4 c coconut flakes 1/4 c vegetable oil 1/4 c maple or agave syrup 1 TBL vanilla ( optional) 2 TBL ground cinnamon Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and then add wet. Place mixture on two cookie sheets. Bake on 250 for 45 minutes. Set a timer and stir mixture every (15) minutes to avoid burning. Chunky Granola!!! —————————————————————- I’m always wanting to spice up my morning fruit bowl with some delicious granola and I came across @alicepages chunky granola and had to give it a try!!! I added in 1-2 extra treats!! What’s your favorite flavors in granola? ——————————————————————— Recipe: 1 cup quick oats 1/2 cup pecans 1/2 cup almonds 1/4 cup Brazil nuts(optional) 1/2 cup shredded coconut 1 tbsp oat flour (almond flour works too) 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp powder ginger Pinch of nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla essence Pinch of salt 1/4 cup maple (or honey) 1 tbsp coconut oil ————————————————————- Preparation: 1. Combine all the dry ingredients 2. Add in the wet ingredients and mix well. 3. In a square tin add parchment paper and pour the mix in-pushing it down as tight as possible (it should be thick so you can break into chunks) 4. Bake for 30-40 mins at 300 F (until golden brown) 5. Pumpkin Spice Granola - my favorite crunchy snack . #sugarfree #oilfree #delishioustreat . * 4 C rolled oats from TJ * 1 C raw hulled buckwheat groats * 1 C dates * 1/2 raw slivered almonds * 1/2 C raw ground walnuts * 1/3 C chia seeds * 1/3 C raw pumpkin seeds * 1/3 C hemp hearts * 1/3 C sunflower seed spread * 1 tsp turmeric powder * 1 tsp ground allspice (optional, or can be substantiated with cinnamon) * 15 oz (1 can) pumpkin purée * Pinch of salt and black pepper * 2 C water . 👉 1. In a large bowl, toss together all dry ingredients 2. In a vitamix, blend the dates with water until smooth. Add pumpkin purée, sunflower spread and blend until a thick, creamy purée forms. Add it to the mixture of dry ingredients, stirring well to cover all dry ingredients completely 3. Spread out evenly onto 2 large silicone -covered (or parchment paper)baking sheets 4. coming in steamin’ hot with a new cauli oats recipe.. this time REESE’S just like the (roughly) $20 billion company says.. there is nothing like that pb and chocolate combo REESE’S CAULI OATS in a saucepan, bring these to a simmer for 5-10 min until thick and incorporated ✰ 3/4 cup nondairy milk ✰ 3/4 cup water ✰ 1 1/2 cups cauli rice ✰ 1/4 cup old fashioned oats ✰ 3 tsp cacao powder ✰ 1-2 tsp maple syrup (to taste) ✰ 1/2 of a serving (1 scoop for me) chocolate protein powder ✰ 1 Tbsp pb powder transfer to a bowl and top with some ✰ dark chocolate squares ✰ drippy natural pb ✰ cacao nibs ✰ hemp seeds ✰ puffed kamut who says we can’t have candy for breakfast??? now i’m regretting not throwing on some dark chocolate peanut butter cups.. there’s always next time xo, pinch of ging

✨Banana Bread Cookies✨⁣ ⁣ These are the simplest, most foolproof cookies you will ever make, and I personally think they taste JUST like banana bread! ⁣ ⁣ Ingredients:⁣ 2 large ripe bananas (the more brown they are, the sweeter they are)⁣ 1 C GF oats⁣ 1/3 C @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Instructions:⁣ 1. Preheat oven to 350.⁣ 2. Line parchment paper on a baking sheet.⁣ 3. Pour all of your ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. ⁣ 4.
